Flow: Water Fountain
I designed and manufactured a desktop water fountain with calming visuals and sounds to ground me in my workspace.
Materials: Steel, Teak, Water, Pump, Plastic
Processes: Sheet metal forming, TIG welding, Angle-grinding, Wood-working, Patina application
Design Goals: To design a desktop water fountain that produces calming visuals and sounds.
Challenges: Creating a sufficient and consistent flow pattern required a lot of experimentation with the waterfall profile, flow rate, and surface tension.
